Boys Golf

SARATOGA SPRINGS, UT — History was made on the links last week as the Lehi High School Boys’ Golf team captured the program’s first-ever UHSAA State Championship at Talon’s Cove Golf Course.

Building on a dominant opening round, the Pioneers maintained their lead throughout day two to secure a seven-stroke victory over the field. Lehi capped off the tournament with a final-round score of 286, bringing their combined two-round total to an impressive 14-under-par 562.

For Head Coach Johnny Revill, a Lehi alumnus who proudly sports Pioneers signs on his pickup truck and a custom "Pioneers" license plate, the victory is a testament to the culture built within the entire program.

“I hope we keep it going and keep the energy going for years to come,” said Revill. “I went to Lehi myself. I bleed purple. As Pioneers, we always tell the boys we’re trailblazers—we’re doing things for the first time. These kids, all 24 of them, whether they feel they were a factor or not, they were, because it’s a brotherhood, and the way they support each other is top-notch.”

The historic victory reflects a bright future for Pioneer golf, with nearly the entire tournament roster slated to return next season:

  • Sophomores: Harward, Ofahengaue, and Simon Caceres (T15) deliver a strong core for years to come.

  • Juniors: D’Adiddas Notoa (T35), Brodyn Pace (T54), and Owen Combs (T59) provided critical depth and leadership throughout the postseason.

  • Seniors: Senior Zane Haehl qualified as an individual competitor, representing the team down the stretch and just missing the day-two cut.

With a deep roster of underclassmen returning and a state trophy officially heading home to Lehi High School, the Pioneers have set a new standard for excellence on the green.

Congratulations to Coach Revill, the coaching staff, and all 24 members of the Lehi Boys' Golf program on making school history!
