The halls of the State Capitol were filled with more than just legislative debate yesterday as the spotlight turned to the arts. Brylie Pace, a standout young artist, was officially recognized by both the Senate and the House of Representatives for her exceptional talent and creative contribution to the state.
Pace was honored for receiving the Fourth Congressional District Honorable Mention, a prestigious nod to her skill and vision.
A Day of Distinguished Recognition
The event offered a rare opportunity for Pace to engage with the state’s top leadership. Highlights of the day included:
Legislative Commendation: A formal recognition on the floor by both the Senate and the House.
Executive Meeting: A personal meeting with Senator Heidi Balderree, who shared her support for the arts.
State Leadership Praise: Direct recognition from Lieutenant Governor Deidre M. Henderson, highlighting the importance of youth achievement in Utah.
Congratulations Brylie! We have such talented students at Lehi High School.
