The Lehi High School FFA chapter returned home this week with arms full of awards following a highly successful showing at the State FFA Convention. From Star State finalists to National qualifiers, our students demonstrated exceptional skill, dedication, and leadership in the field of agricultural education.
Top Individual Honors
Leading the pack was Sadie Wilson, who was named the State Winner for Star State Farmer in Agri-Science. This prestigious award recognizes the very best student-led scientific research in the state.
Other top "Star" honors included Quade Fackrell, who earned 2nd in the state for Star State Farmer in Placement, and Lacey Hadfield, who took home 3rd in the state for Star State Farmer in Production.
Punching Tickets to Nationals
Several students have officially qualified to represent our school and state on the national stage:
Jayde Hadfield received the American Degree, the highest level of membership achievable in the FFA.
Quade Fackrell was the Proficiency winner in Agricultural Placement and Design.
Sadie Wilson and Maya Stewart dominated the Agri-Science Fair as State Winners.
Two Junior High Teams also secured 1st place finishes, proving that the future of our program is in excellent hands.
Celebrating Excellence
In addition to the competitive wins, eight of our dedicated members were awarded their State Degrees, a milestone that requires years of consistent effort and leadership:
Quade Fackrell, Brylie Grace, Lacey Hadfield, Blake McMullin, Ashlyn Price, Field Stewart, Maya Stewart, and Sadie Wilson.
The chapter also celebrated Adalie Pulham for her participation in the State Creed Speaking event, and the duo of Addisyn Mendoza and Chloe Atkinson, who placed 3rd in the state in the Agri-Science Fair.
