LEHI, Utah – Lehi Athletics is pleased to announce the promotion of Riley White to Head Baseball Coach, solidifying the leadership of the Pioneers baseball program. White, a familiar face to the Lehi community, has served as an assistant coach for the team over the past two years under Coach Madsen.
White brings a deep understanding of the program’s existing success and a wealth of experience both as a player and coach. His historical ties to the program are significant, having played for Coach Madsen at Utah Valley University (2009, 2011–2014), gaining firsthand knowledge of his predecessor's coaching style and philosophy.
"We are incredibly proud to welcome Coach White into this new role," said a Lehi Athletics spokesperson. "His commitment to this school, our athletes, and the foundation built by previous coaches is exactly what we need to continue the Lehi legacy of excellence. We are excited for the energy and expertise he will bring to our community."
Beyond his collegiate baseball career, White boasts distinguished accomplishments in international fast pitch softball, including selection to the 2005 Jr. Men's USA Fast pitch Softball team and winning the 2017 ISC 2 Men's Fast pitch Championship. This diverse background positions him to lead Lehi’s powerhouse baseball program with a unique competitive edge.
"I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity," Coach White shared, expressing his excitement for the future. "This program means so much to me and the community. I love this school and these athletes. Previous coaches have worked so hard to turn this program into the powerhouse it is today, and I will build off those standards to continue this program's level of excellence."
